- 2 cups firmly packed fresh basil leaves
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan
- 2 tablespoons pine nuts, toasted
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Step 1: Place basil, garlic, parmesan and pine nuts in a food processor. Process until finely chopped.
- Step 2:With motor operating, gradually add combined oil and lemon juice until pesto is almost smooth.
