Basil pesto

Ingredients :
  • 2 cups firmly packed fresh basil leaves
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan
  • 2 tablespoons pine nuts, toasted
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Method :
  • Step 1: Place basil, garlic, parmesan and pine nuts in a food processor. Process until finely chopped.
  • Step 2:With motor operating, gradually add combined oil and lemon juice until pesto is almost smooth.
