Market update 31st July 2012

Produce in the Sydney Basin has improved dramatically thanks to some welcome sunshine. Tomatoes, Capsicums, Broccoli and Zucchini are looking much better this week.

It is amazing just what favorable weather and a ray of sunshine can do for crops!

Cos lettuce, Spinach and English Spinach are all in better supply.

In fruit news, Honey Murcott Mandarins have started and are available from now right through until October.

The pick for this week according to Fred Pisciuneri are the Navel oranges and the Silverbeet Spinach, both of which are very well priced.
