Market Update 13th November 2012

With apples coming to the end of the season the pick for quality is still, Pink Ladys and Granny Smiths.

Bananas are of good quality and value even if they seem a little smaller than usual but the good news is, they are the perfect size for kid’s lunchboxes.

Packham Pears are still of good quality but are coming to the end of their season.

Rockmelons are great and very good quality. The price of watermelon also has improved with the quality being very good.

Mangoes, Mangoes, Mangoes!

They are becoming more plentiful and the quality is very good.

Be patient customers as over the next few weeks both the prices and the taste of Cherries, Apricots, Peaches and Nectarines should improve.

Moving onto vegetables:

Beans are good quality as is the Broccoli and Cauliflower.

Corn is on special at Fred’s One Stop this week with the price matching the great quality and value.

There has been an improvement in the availability of Tomatoes, Capsicums and Cherry Tomatoes.
