Mini toffees


  • 500g sugar
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • 1 tablespoon brown vinegar
  • Sprinkles


  • Step 1 – Line two 12-cup mini-muffin trays with patty cases.
  • Step 2 – Place all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat and stir until sugar completely dissolves.
  • Step 3 – Bring to the boil, without stirring, and cook until syrup browns. Remove from heat and cool until bubbles settle.
  • Step 4 – Pour into prepared muffin trays, decorate with sprinkles and set aside to harden.
