Oranges are an excellent source of Vitamin C and are one of the most popular and commonly used pieces of citrus fruit; they can range from very sweet to quite bitter and are available all year round. Generally, they are eaten fresh or juiced however, they are often added to a variety of sweet or savoury dishes.

Additionally, they are a good source of dietary fibre, a good source of B vitamin including vitamin B1, Folate and Pantothenic Acid, as well as vitamin A, Potassium, Calcium and Copper.
